Established in 1997, SWF helps to ensure a future for many species of endangered animals worldwide.
You may already be aware of the significant threat to wildlife and the alarming rate at which the numbers of many species are declining. SWF is committed to providing sorely needed funds to special interest organizations and research groups working in an effort to preserve these creatures in their natural habitats.
Our Modes Operandi
SWF focuses on specific conservation efforts as problems arise. We contribute to scientific research projects dedicated to effective conservation strategies. This leads directly to benefits for the animals in their natural habitat. Many projects we fund are the result of workers in the field asking directly for financial support to help save a population from an immediate danger. SWF is able to respond quickly and efficiently in emergencies. SWF also commissions research on important conservation issues.
SWF regularly communicates with our supporters outlining each new project to which we contribute. Since most contributors like to know how their money has been used, we publish semi-annual report in which we provide all the latest news of our projects, achievements and strategic plans. These reports will soon be available on this web site.
